Because of Muhammara, today's breakfast sandwich has a definite Aleppo flavour. Muhammara is a blend of red peppers(sweet flame roasted in my recipe), garlic and walnuts, with addition of pomegranate molasses, olive oil and lemon juice. Traditionally, bread crumbs also a part of the dish, but in my case toasted multigrain bread substitutes that. I have also added garlic roast beef.
