Just to be clear, I've been to Japan. Also, I am not an expert of Japanese cuisine. Just like like eating maki, and this sandwich was inspired by sushi rolls.
I've started by using my egg cutting gadget. Afterwords, I've separated whites from yolks.
Then, created spread, by mashing cooked yolks with cream cheese.
Bottom side of toasted ciabatta bun, covered by newly created spread and sprinkled some soya sauce on the top pat.
Placed some roasted and seasoned nori on the top of the spread. Used slices of cooked egg whites, as vessels for ikura.
Topped everything with fresh some cucumber and finely grated carrot.
Here is a final result.
Bon appétit and hope to see you again!
