Draniki are potato pancakes, which are are very popular in many areas of former Soviet Union. After watching some how-to video, I was inspired to make this crunchy dish for dinner.
After so in ice cold water for 10 minutes, grated potatoes were strained on placed in bowl. Two eggs were added to it,
followed by small amount of extra virgin olive oil, herbs and spices
and Tex-Mex shredded cheeses mix.
Afterwards, potato and cheese mash, was formed in to patties and baked in the oven, for approximately 15 minutes on each side.
Then, crunchy draniki where plated and garnished with sour cream, guacamole and slices of fresh tomato. Bon appétit! Hope to see you again. Also, would be very happy to receive your feedback or advice about my culinary creations.
